Jeannie Mai was born on January 4, 1979 (age 45) in San Jose, California, USA. She started her studies at the Milpitas High School. Jeannie started her working career as a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics in San Jose at the age of 18. She experienced rapid success when she worked with personalities such as Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys. The connection with such celebrities gave her chances to work for MTV’s Total Request Live, KCAL Los Angeles, and Good Day Sacramento.
In 2003, she was hired as a co-host in the Asian-American magazine-style show Stir on the International Channel. Later, Mai became popular as an entertainment reporter and producer of the WB’s The Daily Mixx.
